Imtiaz Alam Chowdhury

Founder

 

Imtiaz Alam Chowdhury, Owner/Founder of Flagship 138 and Founder/CEO of Monark Group, brings over 15 years of leadership experience in hotel, tourism, and real estate. Educated in Australia, he gained retail experience at David Jones. Imtiaz later ventured into real estate, travel, and tourism in Bangladesh, and in January 2023, entered retail with Flagship 138, emphasizing customer service and mentoring designers. In the dynamic retail sphere, Imtiaz serves as a steadfast driving force, implementing sophisticated corporate strategies to fortify the organization. Beyond business, he resides in Chittagong with his wife and daughter, managing his time across India, Bangladesh, and Dubai, where he holds residency. Fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi, Imtiaz’s interests extend to travel and relishing Turkish cuisine.

Saima Hanafi Chowdhury

CEO

 

Saima Hanafi Chowdhury, CEO of Flagship 138, was educated in Kolkata, including St. Teresa’s Secondary School and Jadavpur University, where she earned a degree in Economics and later a postgraduate degree in Mass Communication. After marrying Imtiaz Alam Chowdhury, she moved to Bangladesh and assumed the role of CEO at Flagship 138. A friendly, dynamic, and deeply analytical leader, she is impassioned by the realms of fashion, creativity, and business growth. Saima has significantly influenced and shaped the organization through collaborative efforts, instilling discipline, and upholding core values. Saima, a mother and wife, also enjoys reading, traveling, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

A substantial portion of the population in Bangladesh faces housing challenges.

Many Bangladeshis are living below the poverty line or are in inadequate shelters. Recognizing this issue, Flagship 138 actively contributes to addressing housing challenges within our community. We provide financial support to renovate and rebuild homes for our staff and others connected to our organization who have been affected by calamities such as cyclones. Our goal is to help them rebuild their lives and provide a sense of security and stability, especially during difficult times.
